Background

CRED Foundation was officially approved on 15 August 2016 and collaborates closely with the Karen Teacher Working Group (KTWG) and Rural Indigenous Sustainable Education (RISE).

Vision

Empowering Indigenous communities through the preservation and promotion of their languages, cultures, histories, identities, and local governance for future generations.

Mission

To improve the quality of and access to education for Indigenous children.

Objectives

To support Students especially ethnic/indigenous children in remote areas have access to more basic education.
Support ethnic/indigenous live in rural areas to a deeper understanding of the benefits of education.
To support vulnerable children and decrease children parents' financial burden to be able to access to more education.
To support children healthcare especially for ethnic/indigenous live in rural/remote areas.
We help to strengthen school management systems, which improves support for both students and teachers and promotes local governance and ownership.
To support the community benefits and create partnership with other NGOs for the benefits of local communities.
